Founded in 2006 in Costa Mesa, Calif., SALT. is “inspired by nature’s effortless beauty and combines the best of California lifestyle and Japanese craftsmanship to create the finest in premium eyewear.” The brand applies over 30 years of experience in building brands, developing products and servicing customers in the optical, fashion apparel and accessories markets. SALT.’s eyewear is inspired by the need for accessories that are stylish, technically advanced and appropriate for their lifestyle.
SALT. has been at the forefront of Eclectic Eye’s mind for some time, as it is an independent eyewear brand that creates excellent products. One of Eclectic Eye’s guiding principles is to support small businesses and independent eyewear brands, so being able to add another line that aligns with that mission is very exciting for us.
The brand embodies beautiful, traditional shapes and styles, but also incorporates some surprising details like beautiful colors, finishes and materials, all inspired by earthly elements. The inspiration for each SALT. collection can be found on the brand’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts.
We are the only retailer in Memphis that carries SALT. eyewear, which hit the Eclectic Eye shelves a week ago. We carry both the optical and sun lines, which are ready-to-wear off the shelves, or we can put in prescription lenses.
