We are excited to introduce the latest line added to our Midtown boutique, KREWE DU OPTIC!
KREWE was founded in 2013 by New Orleans, LA., native Stirling Barrett, and the inspiration for the brand comes from the thriving cultural hub that is the City of New Orleans. The term KREWE is linked to Mardi Gras, and it celebrates a diverse group of people that come together to celebrate the Carnival season. The name reflects the "Spirit of creative collaboration," which is a huge focus for the brand. From the names of the frames to the color names, the culture of New Orleans is present in each piece, continually highlighting the city’s individuality.
Today, this eyewear line can be spotted all over traditional and social media outlets. It’s been popping up on celebrities faces in magazine’s like Bazaar, Glamour, Elle, InStyle, NYLON, Southern Living and People’s StyleWatch; and blogging sites like WhoWhatWear, Refinery29, Fashionista.com, TheLowDown by Lo Bosworth and Style.com. Currently, we have dozens of beautiful suns on display and available for purchase.
Each frame utilizes optimum lenses and is made with hand-carved Italian Zyle acetate, which is a flexible type of plastic that is not likely to break and offers a tailored fit to your face for a customized fit that lasts.
"People represent our brand. That’s why we use discreet KREWE insignias so you and your frames stand out." kreweduoptic.com.
