It’s the most fashionable time of the year! Eclectic Eye was a proud sponsor of Memphis Fashion Week, which was held April 5-8. We were privileged to see not only emerging designers from Memphis, but also established designers from across the country.
The weekend kicked off with the Featured Designer Runway show at the newly renovated and gorgeous venue, Crosstown Concourse, formerly holding the Sears distribution center and a storefront. As we entered the Concourse, we were greeted with red carpet treatment and our eyes were instantly drawn toward the Memphis Fashion Week photo booth, so we HAD to take pictures!
Our team met up before we took a seat to watch the runway show. We sipped on wine and mingled with a lot of our fashionable and fun patients while waiting for the show to start. Designers included Sheila Jay, This is Sloane and the famous showstopper, Nicole Miller.
On the same night, male freeze models sported our frames to promote Eclectic Eye. They were styled by the incomparable Lindsey Roberts, who happens to be a good friend of Eclectic Eye.
Check out some of the weekend’s most stylish pieces:
As Memphians, checking out the improvements at Crosstown Concourse was our favorite part! Through its history, this venue has been a staple to the Memphis landscape. The interior was amazing – it had modern lighting elements and a beautiful suspended balcony with light wood elements. The runway was set in the main concourse building with rows of seating all around for the patrons to see the designer’s hard work!
The local emerging designers of Memphis were the stars of the show on Saturday night at Memphis College of Art’s Rust Hall Main Gallery. The venue made for a perfect runway for the designers to show off their amazing work. On this night, female freeze models were wearing our frames, and again, were styled by Lindsey Roberts. She took time to highlight not only our beautiful frames, but also to incorporate them with clothing from the other sponsors of Memphis Fashion Week.
As always, we are a proud sponsor of Memphis Fashion Week and cannot wait to see how it continues to grow in the future!
