At Eclectic Eye, we have always been inspired by the Memphis Grizzlies motto, “Grit and Grind.” We feel it is also an apt description about what we do in the Memphis community and throughout the eyewear business nationwide. Eclectic Eye is not like most optical shops because we carry hand-made, independent eyewear that is unique to our store. The styles and lines that you see at Eclectic Eye are picked with love from all over the world by our owners and buyers, to fit our unique personality and to bring that uniqueness to our community. We also strive to do this in all areas of our business.
By now, I am sure you are aware that we are heavily engaged with our community at Eclectic Eye. We host art shows every six to eight weeks, featuring a different local artist, and sponsor numerous events for local organizations including school fundraisers, Mojo of Midtown Awards, Condomonium, Memphis Fashion Week and many, many, more! Our store also features two beautiful murals commissioned by our owners with local artists Birdcap and Kyle Taylor, a wonderful sculpture by Yvonne Bobo and our first collaboration with the Crybaby Club, for our exclusive pins available at the store.
Well, we’ve done it again. Natalie, of the Crybaby club, has produced a second amazing pin inspired by Memphis’ and our owners’ love for the Memphis Grizzlies and all the passion that goes along with the team. This new limited-edition pin, shown below, is a classic frame style with our Eclectic Eye logo and a paw print, to always remind you to push hard and work toward your goals!
