Eclectic Eye is excited to welcome Dr. Kristin Fonseca as an optometrist. With her extensive background in patient care and love for eyewear, she will serve as a valued asset to the staff and patients.
Education/Job responsibilities:
Dr. Fonseca received her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2014 and completed a residency at The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center affiliated with the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also completed externships at Ducklo Eyecare in Nashville and Ochsner Health Center in New Orleans. As one of the optometrists at Eclectic Eye, she is responsible for enhancing patient care through thorough optometric examinations, including refractions, assessment of the ocular health and eyewear recommendations.
Interests and Hobbies:
When Dr. Kristin Fonseca isn’t spending time with her husband Adam and two children Angelina & Oliver, she enjoys salsa dancing and yoga.
Professional affiliations:
Dr. Fonseca is a member of the West TN Optometric Physicians Society and has had her work published in ElectrifEye Journal in 2019. Dr. Fonseca also received the 2014 Outstanding Clinician Award from Southern College of Optometry.
