Eclectic Eye presents “Eye Am,” an art installation by Jaimie Monger. Monger, a primarily self-taught artist, specializes in abstracts and portraits using acrylic paint while dabbling in oil paint, watercolor, color pencil, graphite and digital media. Monger accredits her growth to her aunt, who is also an artist, as she continues to expand her skillset of techniques and materials.
Her works are inspired by people, and how they choose to express themselves. Through her art, Monger seeks to offer people the opportunity to feel what they feel and say what’s on their mind. This approach encourages open discussions about how individuals view things without defense – in short, she wants to see pure expression met with pure response.
