ECLECTIC EYE MIDTOWN
JUNE 10, 2016 | 6 - 8 PM
Originally from Memphis, Sandy Deacon now resides in Northern California where she works as an artist. Eclectic Eye will display some of Sandy’s oil paintings of various sizes on linen and canvas. Pattern, repetition, and color relationships influenced from a range of sources such as vintage textiles, quilts, architectural forms, aerial imagery and mapping are utilized experimentally in the processes of layering and compositional development.
The series will be on display and available for purchase from Friday, June 10 to Wednesday, August 3.
We hope you’ll stop by Eclectic Eye’s Midtown store on June 10 to meet Sandy and view her work. Scroll down to preview some of her paintings.
Sandy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Memphis and a Master of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is currently represented by Julie Heller Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and her art has been on display and for sale at a variety of exhibits throughout Massachusetts, as well as at the Jay Etkin Gallery in Memphis.
